What you should know before buying
No numeric wind rating published. Instead the manual advises siting 'in an area protected from high winds' and gives a concrete upgrade path — see wind_rating_assumes_anchoring.
The most specific anchoring guidance in our entire set, and it names the part. For high snow the manual adds: extra self-tapping screws where rafters meet the ridge beam and gutters, extra spandrels/deco supports, and a stainless steel cable with turnbuckle tying opposite sidewalls to stop them bowing under roof load.
No psf figure. For high-snow areas the manual directs the buyer to call Exaco, and notes special bracing is newly available for the VI46 (12'7" wide) models.
