The concrete-anchor method the manual recommends needs "šroubů a hmoždinek (nejsou obsahem balení)" - screws and wall plugs, not included in the package. The connecting bolts between greenhouse and steel base are also noted as not always supplied, varying by model.

Vitavia sets out a specific procedure and, unusually, warns against its own simpler option. For the steel base without a masonry kerb, it says the base must be properly anchored into the ground, and that pegging it down with the supplied ground spikes should only be done if you are absolutely certain the subsoil will hold — adding that "v ČR a SR toto řešení vysloveně nedoporučujeme", in the Czech Republic and Slovakia we expressly do not recommend this solution. The method it does recommend: dig roughly 40 cm deep at each of the up to 6 anchor points, set a 100 mm PVC drain pipe 40 cm long, backfill around it, fill the pipe with concrete, then bolt the base into the cured concrete. It also rules out sandy ground entirely.

Whether one is included depends on the pack, but the manual carries a warning about them that applies however you get one, and it is the most practical thing in the document. The automatic opener responds only to temperature, not to wind. On a warm, windy day it can hold the roof vent open and the vent itself can be damaged. Vitavia's instruction is to close auto-opener windows by hand in advance of forecast wind — "Proto při hrozících větru včas (tj. předem) manuálně uzavřete i okna opatřená automatickým otvíračem!!!" This matters because the tested 47 mph figure only holds with everything closed, and an auto opener will not close for you.
